Yes, and the worry is understandable. What we stock is tempered borosilicate - the same family of glass used in laboratory equipment and oven cookware, not the kind a drinking tumbler is made from. It is manufactured for insertion, it is considerably stronger than everyday glass, and it does not shatter from normal use, body heat, or warming and cooling within a sensible range.
How to Choose
Start with the widest point, not the length
Glass does not compress. A silicone plug gives a little as it goes in; a glass one does not, so the widest diameter is the number that decides whether it works for you. Size down from whatever you use in silicone for your first glass plug - most people find glass feels a size larger than the same measurement in a softer material.
Plain, gem-set or textured
Plain plugs are the most discreet and usually the smoothest ride. Gem-set plugs put a jewel in the base and are made to be looked at. Textured and beaded designs - ridges, bulbs, swirls - give you something to feel on the way in and out rather than a single steady stretch.
Single or a set

Temperature Play, Done Properly
This is the whole point of glass, so it is worth doing right. Fill a bowl with warm tap water - comfortable on the inside of your wrist, nothing hotter - and leave the plug in it for two or three minutes. For cold, five minutes in the fridge. Always test it against your inner wrist before it goes anywhere near you, because glass carries heat far more efficiently than skin expects and what feels fine in your hand can be a shock elsewhere.
Never use boiling water, a freezer, a microwave or a dishwasher's heated dry cycle. Thermal shock is the one thing that genuinely will crack borosilicate.

Glass takes any lube you like - water-based, silicone or hybrid. Silicone lube lasts longest and suits glass particularly well, and it is one of the few places in this catalogue where we can say that without a caveat. Use less than you think; glass is slick to begin with.
Wash with warm water and a toy cleaner before and after every use. Because it is non-porous, glass can also be sterilised in a way most materials cannot - but let it cool naturally afterwards rather than running it under a cold tap. Store it somewhere it cannot knock against other toys; a soft pouch is worth the two minutes it takes to find one.
